Tree Pruner Selection

Tree Pruner Selection

A tree pruner is a long-handled saw with a curved blade that is ideal for cutting back the leaves of small trees.  A standard tree pruner is approximately one foot in length and comes with a sheath for carrying.  However, our Shot Maker Telescoping Pruner extends up to 60 feet and has a chain-driven gear for power!  We also carry ratcheting pruners, which snap through limbs quickly and have soft grip handles that are resistant to slipping in wet conditions.

Not sure what tree pruner is right for you?  Call or email our friendly customer service team and they’ll be happy to help you find the product that fits your needs.

Leatherman Vista Hunting Pruners

I like the compactness of the pruners for stowing in a back pack during hunting season. Its fold down feature makes it safe to climb a tree and is very effective in clearing shooting lanes of branches. It was recommended to me and I would recommend it to all bow hunters out there.

Fiskars Finland Power-Lever Bypass Pruner

These are good pruners! They are smaller and lighter than others I have used but still very good at pruning. They handle everything from dead heading flowers to cutting woody bushes and small branches.
