Family Tent Collection
Nothing beats a family tent when it comes to camping trips with big groups. With features like private rooms, vestibules large enough to fit a picnic table and multiple doors, a family tent is the ultimate home away from home. A family tent is generally designed for four or more campers. Many family tent models have straight walls, which increase volume, and some even have room dividers to keep squabbling children separated.
Despite its large size, a family tent is surprisingly easy to set up, so you can focus your time on enjoying nature and your companions. Each family tent we sell, like all our products, is backed by a 100% money-back guarantee, so you can buy with confidence.
It was exactly what I wanted. Fantastic!
I had this tent for 4 years now and it is really easy to set up. I always get to our favorite campsite first and can set this one up all by myself so its up when my hubby gets there. I love the fact you can stand up in it and it is very roomy and well ventilated.
If you are serious about Camping and want a great trouble free experience EVERYTIME this is the tent I Purchased and I have no regrets at all. In February 2 feet snow and winds it performed Flawlessly. In summer heat and rains Perfection. All seams held zippers are the best of all other tents I have the gauge of the walls and floor are excellent. If I ever need to purchase another tent it will be one of these, attention to detail is Outstanding.
I love this tent. It has great stand-up space, attached screen addition works great extra storage area, room for two chairs and small table to sit. It would be difficult for one person to assemble this tent.
Although the tent is spacious, it did not fair well from stiff wind. I had to actually tie twine string from the elbow connectors to the base ring connectors to keep the tent from blowing away. The wind kept lifting the canopy up, causing the poles to come off their pin-guides. Additionally, because the wind kept trying to make it into a parachute, I had to use 3/8 rope to tie the two poles on the right side of the tent and anchor that rope in the shape of a V to the tow-hooks of my truck bumper so that it would not blow away. Additionally, I think the plastic stakes that came with the tent, should be replaced with Steel tent pins. In a rocky ground base, one of my stakes shattered. So I had to borrow a friends steel stake to keep it anchored. I've since gone to ACE hardward and bought 10" steel tent stake pins. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied.
We used this tent for a week of family camping (there are 4 of us). There was plenty of space, the separate entrances were a plus, & it was pretty easy to set up. It also stood up to a couple of nights of rain. I personally would have liked more storage compartments for small things, i.e. flashlight, phone, however, overall very satisfied with this tent.
Love the tent. Size is great and very easy to set up. The rooms are large enough for two blow up beds (queen & double) each. The kids slept on the outside "rooms" and kept the middle one for the living area! Only problem was we had a storm one night and the poles in one corner fell which let a little water into the tent. But the rest of the tent stayed up so we were quite happy!! GREAT product!
I'm a tall feller and this was more than my wife and I expected. We were well pleased with the tent.
