Well now I have used this cot a great deal and will tell you I am so happy with it. I put my thick sleeping bag on top of the mattress and then my sheets and a nice lite weight comforter and I am sooooo comfortable. I am 5'2" tall and weigh 165 lbs. I am very careful on how I sit to make sure I do not break it. I won't let anyone sit on it either. I need it to sleep on. It is wonderful for my needs. One outpoint. It squeaks when I move around on it. But I still enjoy it immensely!
I just received my cot and have not used it. I did test it though and find it very comfortable and nice and wide for my body and my pillow. The only thing I am not pleased with is when it is folded the plastic caps in the metal are broken and leaves a sharp edge of which I am not happy about as it will cut the floor when standing up on them while folded.
Comfortable to sleep on, you just need to be careful where you sit when you are getting in/out of the bed. The frame bent when it was sat on between the middle legs and head of the cot.
The thing I like about this cot is it is extra wide and actually has a real mattress. It's not the most comfortable for sleeping, but it beats laying on the floor:)
Cot is just great, folds up for both easy storage and travel. It is also light enough to carry to a camp out. Very comfortable to sleep on.
It really is not as comfortable as I would have hoped for a big guy. I'm 6', 275 lbs and I thought it would handle me OK, but it's not very comfortable.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE:We are ready and have the experience to help during emergency situations. We were the first to help during disasters such as the 9/11/2001 terrorist attack on New York City, the 2005 record breaking hurricane season including hurricane Katrina and Rita that devastated the Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast. More recently we supported emergency responders in 2008, by delivering tens of thousands of cots in August and September, for the California wild fires, as well as Hurricane Gustav. When Hurricane Ike devastated our hometown of Houston TX. on Friday night, we were still delivering beds Saturday night in the dark, since the whole town was without electricity.
