The axe is an essential tool. For millennia, it has served man by felling trees, splitting wood, building shelters, and fighting fires. Even though we have more advanced pieces of equipment today, the simple axe remains one of the most important tools for camping, building cabins, and saving lives.

Whether you need a strong two-handed axe to split firewood or a small one-handed hatchet to throw in a survival kit, we have an axe for every need. And with our 60-day, money-back guarantee, you can wield your axe knowing we’ve got your back.

I like this hatchet but it is smaller than I expected. The quality is excellent and with some prep on the leather handle it should last for decades.

Timberline Kommer Bush Pilot Survival Hatchet

This is a small hatchet that is very sturdy. The tang is very thick and is suitable for batoning. I have not used this yet, but I plan on using it to death. One thing to know is that the hatchet comes very dull from the company. This doesn't detract from the sturdiness of it, but you will have to grind it down to sharpen it. I have not used this yet, but I am looking forward to using it. Sadly, while I was typing the review, a pop up ad from knife depot popped up in my face irritating me greatly.

Shadow Cutlery Vikings - Axe of Ragnar Lothbrok - Standard Edition

I just received this as a birthday gift and I doubt any other could be better. My plaque is different and displays the ax horizontally with a big Vikings logo on it. Proud to be 1 of 5000 owners of this.
