This is indeed a heavy duty cot! I purchased 2 of these cots to replace a couple of cots that were broken. The broken ones looked exactly the same, but they weren't very strong. The legs bent and then broke just from my 8 and 10 year old grandkids sitting on the sides. I found these heavy duty cots on the internet and decided to give them a try. I put a 4" thick foam pad on each heavy duty cot, and my 30 year old nephew, who weighs about 230 lbs, and his wife slept on them New Year's Eve. The cots not only held up great, but my nephew and his wife said they slept like babies!

I am big guy, weighing in at 270, and I was a little hesitant about an aluminum cot holding me. It held me, with no problem, and was actually very comfortable. My wife and daughter liked them also, at first they were not sure about a cot. I would recommend them to anyone, who like me, doesn't like sleeping on the ground! I liked the storage for my glasses, flashlight, and other gear in the carrying case after attaching it to the cot. It was attached with the heavy duty Velcro, that closed the carrying bag. Very handy!

We purchased three extra large military style cots that are made extremely well, and easily support the additional weight requirement. Well made, large, light and tough. Clever case that also hangs from the cot as an accessory pocket. Takes a strong hand and a bit of technique to stretch and assemble the last corner of the cot. Bought several and added 4" foam mattresses. They provided a good nights sleep and a good place to sit and talk.

The large heavy duty cot was all I had wanted as it was sturdy and VERY large. It was a bit heavier than I expected but my campsite was close to the vehicle. However, I would NOT recommend trying to pack this in unless your very large and very strong. It was easy to set up by myself and a PLEASURE to sleep on.

The 600 lb capacity makes for a strong cot. The 7 ft length is good for tall people. It initially takes some strength to get the last end bar connected but the result is a very secure and strong cot. A good functional cot!

This product did NOT do as advertised. I weigh 385 pounds and when I sat in the middle of the cot to lie down one of the legs collapsed. I did however appreciate the action taken by this company to right this wrong. Very good customer service.

Very sturdy cot with great sleeping space. Set-up is easy though the last "connection" of the cross bar is difficult due to the quality construction of the cot. The cot is compact when folded and easily transported.

We are using these cots for volunteer work teams who come into our area and stay in our church facilities to repair low income homes. This was a very comfortable cot~! I was skeptical at first due to my size. I was pleased that it has held up really well after sleeping on it for a week. It was a bear to get it together the first time but it was a whole lot better than sleeping on the ground!! Especially the concrete floor we had to work with.

This cot saved our camping trip. I have a back issue that requires a firm sleep surface. This cot did the trick. If you need a softer bed you may need to add some kind of padding but for me this was great.

This cot is great! It has very easy setup after the first time use. It had no problems holding heavy set people 300lbs + . The only thing I have not liked about these cots is they make a kind of popping type noise when you shift on them when sleeping and they are fairly heavy. But when you want heavy duty I guess it should be heavy. Sleeps great and has plenty of width to be comfortable for multiple nights in a row. My wife and I used these for a week straight and had no discomfort in the cots Definitely worth the money!

Sturdy cot! Purchased cot in June to use at week long Boy Scout summer camp. Cot worked very well! The reinforced steel inserts in legs kept the legs from bending. One of our guys (medium build) sat on it near head and aluminum legs did buckel a bit but steel inserts held. That is reason I give it 4 stars, otherwise would give it 5! Cot is right size and sturdy enough for me... 6'4" 310 lbs! Recommend this cot for length, width, and strength.

I have set this cot up once to try it out. It gets its real test in a month when we have a friend stay with us in our apartment for 2 weeks. The cot offers a large, firm and extremely comfortable surface which almost immediately lulled me to sleep. My only concern is that there is quite a bit of top to bottom movement in the legs as they are not braced. This was not noticeable when lying down but I would not recommend diving on the cot, or using it for other vigorous aerobic type activity. If one can restrain oneself from this type of behavior then I am certain that the cot will give many years of sterling service. Please be aware that the cot requires some strength in the hands to assemble.
