As an a typical user of this cot (I'm a dwarf, not a kid), I like it. It is a little wobbly for someone at my weight (130 lbs) although it is rated for 200 lbs, but not bad. I live in a small apartment with a lot of books, so using this cot instead of even a twin size bed saves space. It's comfortable with a sleeping bag or heavy blanket on it, and I can store things under it. It folds up during the day, to save even more space. Overall I like it, and would certainly recommend it for kids or very small adults on a camping trip.

I purchased the cots for my older two kids as we were moving to Colorado while waiting for the rest of my household goods. The kids just love them! I like the fact that they are to set up and take down and it comes with it's own carrying case. You can slide them under a bed or stand then in a closet when not in use.

It's a nice little cot but when I read military style, I was really thinking heavy duty. I have a large military cot that is very heavy duty and paid less money for it. I was expecting the frame and legs to be heavier metal and it's a light weight. It is very easy and quick to set up, just not sure how long it will last.

It is just right! I am a Civil War reenactor and I needed a 5' or less cot to fit my tent. It is just right. Also I like the fact I can open it up without anybody helping me. Thank You.

We are using this cot as a prop in a theatrical production. It's rated for 200 lbs, but we had to replace it this year because the first one the legs sort of warped. If truly used for a child it would probably be fine. (my actors all weigh much less than 200 lbs though)
