Customer Reviews: Kamp Rite Tent Cot- Single

Absolutely loved it! Even when it got down to 20 degrees at Glacier National, I stayed cozy. A few tips: be sure to have a sleeping pad, as well as a bag, for those colder nights. I use an Eddie Bauer roll up, which has an easy carry handle. Being a single lady, this was so easy to set up, and then I could do the lounge chair during the day--it made a great little "home away from home!" It would be nice to have a hard plastic roll cover with a handle (so it could be pulled like luggage)--Although at 18 pounds, it was not that heavy to carry, by the time I stuffed the bag full of other camping gear it more than doubled in weight, and that was difficult to shoulder. Also, the black bag did not hold up well to airline handling--there are already rips and tears in the corners. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants an easy way to enjoy the outdoors!

Absolutely loved it. Easy to set up, very comfortable, and cozy in the rain. Do bring a pad for sleeping--it gets cool in the Mts, and a sleeping pad was a definite plus. I just wish the Tent Cot Bag was sturdier--after being thrown around by various airlines, there are holes in the corners. The bag won't last long at this rate. The cot by itself weighs only 18 lbs, so is easily portable by delicate women such as myself. BUT--add a sleeping bag and pad, plus a few necessities, and the portability declines--I would wish that Tent Cot would make an encasement out of plastic (like a cooler) with wheels and a handle--folks would pay for the ease of use!

Well-designed. Good fabric that should last. Easy to set up, but a bit heavy (for me, but I'm 75).

I am an Observer controller in the Army and use my Tent Cot about 14 days a month, and I love it. It's easy to set up and take and does a great job keeping the wind out. I did not get a rain cover which was a mistake, make sure you get the rain cover because without it you dont get soaked, but you will get some moisture.

I have used it once so far. It is the best outdoor sleep I have ever had! I have a Jeep and I throw it in the back. When I'm in the middle of nowhere setting up the cot is a breeze.

I just love this tent cot. It's very comfortable and cozy. I have only used it one time, but it will get a lot of use this summer.

The Tent Cot is genius, so simple and quite comfortable (with sleeping pad). I would recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their single person camping experience.

It is great and surprisingly roomy and comfortable! It is a little heavy for a woman but a great concept!
