The insulated compartments and wine bag work great in keeping everything cold and it's nice to have everything you need in one place. There's not a lot of room for extras, such as bags of chips or candles. Also, be sure you pack up before dark if going to an outdoor concert in the evening - you'll need to see pretty well to get everything packed back in. The wineglasses are cheap plastic - I swapped them out with real glass ones.

My husband and I gave this as a gift after we were given one (and we discovered how awesome they are). I really love the little blanket that comes with it, perfect everywhere from the beach to rough rocks. My only complaint is the plastic glasses eventually broke, the bottoms are seperate from the top for ease of travel maybe? Anyways, I replaced them with small stainless steel ones for more durable travelability. Otherwise, this a PERFECT travel companion for all you "adventurous, romantic, practical and love good food and wine" type!

Great value for the price! Not the most expensive bag on the site, so I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. Gave as a gift and she loved it. The blanket is VERY soft and the thermal compartments very spacious. The thermal wine pouch is also great for everything from wine to water. Can't attest to the ability of the cutlery/glasses/plates to stand up to wear and tear, but they seem good enough for picnics and can be replaced easily.

We purchased the Conquest Deluxe 2-person picnic backpack with blanket as a gift, after doing lots of online research. We would recommend it. We were pleased when we opened the box. It appeared to be of good quality. We gave it as a Christmas gift to friends who spend about 6 mo. a year in Europe; they spend lots of time traveling by train (4-5 hour rides) and love to pack a picnic lunch. They were thrilled with it and said it will be perfect because their hands will be free to handle all their other luggage. They also said it looks like it will really hold up well. They plan to use it for their many picnics here at home in Florida as well. They just "raved" about it. I purchased some things and put them into the backpack, bottle of wine, crackers, hot chocolate packs, and a little stainless steel flask. They also like hot beverages like tea (she's English) and hot chocolate, so the flask will also come in handy. The perfect gift and we may get one for ourselves.

This is a sturdy unit and complete with the blanket and beverage holder attached to the backpack. It also looks easy to keep clean both inside and out. The picture on the web-site is an accurate representation of the actual set. Like other units, we have purchased in the past, the utensils and plastic glasses are not the most durable, but they can easily be replaced with others when they wear out.
