Likewise, deployment, or set up of the CCTC is equally easy and fast. The CCTC combines two separate, standard items in one package. The upper portion or "tent top" of the CCTC can be completely detached from the cot base. Once removed from the cot base, the tent top becomes a compact, one person on the ground tent. The remaining cot base can then be used as a typical stand-alone sleeping cot, and is an excellent solution for "arena" type shelters. Attaching the tent top to the cot base creates an even more comfortable and much more private environment for the displaced user.
