Enjoying Your Camping TripDon't forget to "Stop and Smell the Roses."The whole idea behind getting into the outdoors is to relax. If you're a Type-A personality, try and take this into consideration, especially when traveling with others. Getting from Point A to Point B may be important to some people and not to others. Take time to enjoy the fresh air, stop and sit down for a few minutes every once in a while, and take your time if possible. The unpredictability of a camping adventure in the outdoors should be counted on. The weather may change, the terrain you travel over may be more difficult than you thought, or you may just feel plain tired one day. Adjust your itinerary accordingly, and be prepared for delays and unexpected disruptions. Remember, you're on vacation even if you're moving from place to place yourself. |
