It works great with light weight line and smaller lures/baits. I plan on buying another in the bear future.

This reel has excellent value for the price. In addition, it has a new concept of a larger spool. I do get longer casts with this reel. There could be some disadvantage, since the line may come off the reel somewhat easier. But I do not find this a problem. Also, the reel is bigger, which may be a problem for light and short rods. But I do bass fishing, and the reel works just fine for that purpose. In summary, the reel allows for longer casts, and it has great action. I would recommend this reel to anyone interested in a new concept, extra casting distance, without a loss of usefulness.
