I purchased this particular picnic basket as a wedding shower gift. I knew that the groom-to-be would never want to carry one that was white and fluffy (like the baskets advertised for weddings) so I purchased this one. OH MY WORD! His eyes lit up; he thought it was fabulous! It was heavy enough to carry their needs, but it was light enough not to be a burden. He said right away, "I know what we are going to do with it. My best man and maid-of-honor are going to pack food from the reception as a picnic for us before we leave. He was more excited than the bride!
