I bought this pack to use for lightweight 3-season overnight trips. I can comfortably carry 20 lbs with this pack. I can stuff a light 40F sleeping bag, lightweight 2-man tent, small cooking kit, and my clothes inside the main compartment. All the miscellaneous small things, tent poles, and items that you want readily accessible go in the other pockets, with some room to spare. I did find that I can't comfortably carry a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle in a waist belt sling like I do with my other pack. With this pack, that puts the bottle in line with my elbow. Because of this, I have purchased a 2L hydration bladder to start carrying my water inside the pack. The quality is good. The materials seem to be durable, the seams look to be well-sewn, and I am impressed with the quality of the zippers and pulls that are used. They all have nice pulls, which makes them easily usable without removing your gloves.
