Used by our U.S. Military soldiers for over 50 years. Black phosphate coated blade. Natural leather handle. Steel butt cap with name and date on it. Sharpening stone and tie down included w/sheath.

There is a date which is the contract date and Ontario knife. The date may be the same about 7 years and then change again when another contract is signed.

Exactly what I wanted. Good for all around hunting and camping or just to have around the house. I used to have this knife years ago and I like the improved sheath. Knife is the same which is why I ordered it.
