The item I received needed sharpening, but this was an excellent knife for camping or for the outdoors.

The knife was everything I expected as far as style, versatility, and sharpness. It was almost sharp enough to shave hair off of your skin.

It is a great product and worth what you pay, even with shipping cost. It comes with a deep, black finish although the image gives a gray impression. Only the blade is sharp; no other feature is (in case the jagged back might be believed to be a mini-saw). But the hold is great, the functions are good, and it's a cool thing to look at. It's pretty sharp too! I bought this as an economic prelude to a high-end knife.
