This is an amazing bird feeder. Not only does it prevent squirrels from getting the bird feed, I have it adjusted to prevent the larger birds from eating on it!.

We bought this one as a gift for someone else but we also have two Squirrel Buster bird feeders ourselves. This is the best bird feeder we have found that truly keeps the pesky squirrels out.

This feeder is well designed and well made of plexiglas and aircraft aluminum. As advertised, when a squirrel climbs onto the feeder the shroud descends to cover the seed holes, thus thwarting the squirrel. The optional cardinal ring (a part intended to make the feeder more attractive to cardinals) was made of plastic and it took the squirrel one day to destroy it. When I brought this to the attention of the company they sent me a ring made of metal.
