The Smith & Wesson Cuttin' Horse Marlin Spike is OK. We had to grind the spike down due to the fact that the tip was too pointed and sharp to use for pulling knots apart. Once this was done it worked very well. The blade is good and sharp and easy to keep sharp. The only thing that would make this knife better would be scales on the handle. Over all I am happy with the knife and its great for the price.
