Good solid working knife made for years of use and abuse. Good balance. Well worth the money.

  David M. from Arlington, VA

A very effective chopping tool. I have used it on a camping trip and it performed beautifully.

  Rob B. from Ventura, CA

Another fine Cold Steel product. Yes indeed the price is reasonable. To get this machete to reach full potential will take a little work on your part. Grab a file and knock the rough off the blade and even out the steel. Cold Steel says it is sharp out of the box, and it is, but you can really get this blade to cut with ease when you spend some time working the edge.

Mihai F. from Cape Girardeau, MO

You get what you pay for. The knife is an average machete. The blade is not thick enough for the knife to handle the abuse I bought it for. Has a cheap feel to it, but then again, it is cheap. It performs reasonably, although there are several flaws in the blade and handle.
