WITH the length and tilt of the handle makes it perfect for cleaning out brush, and if a varmint attacks it is history.

Have not used this blade on any brush but the feel of it is very balanced. Appears to be quality craftsmanship due to the solid piece of steel from tip of the blade to the butt of the handle. Wood grain handle is very comfortable and almost seamless. The only downside I see to this blade is that it is manufactured in China.
