The PackRight Sport 3 is both the highest quality and the largest car top cargo bag in its price range and Aerodynamically styled to boot. It provides an 18 cu ft capacity - that is a whole bunch of gear. The carrier features the innovative ZipRight zipper system, a urethane coated zipper located on the protective flap to keep rain out. The Sport 3 is Aerodynamically designed to cut the wind (15" high in front and 18" high in back) which saves $$$ at the gas pump. The bag is constructed of a thick, PVC backed polyester , UV resistant Hydrotuff Material. The ZipRight zipper unzips around 3/4 of the bag to provide for a large loading opening.
The size of the Sport 3 Carrier fully loaded is larger than a medium size car trunk. The carrier comes with a StrapRight Strap Set (4 straps to hold the carrier to 2 or 4 luggage rack bars), complete instructions, and a stuff sack for storage when not in use.
The Sport 3 Carrier can be used on vehicles with or without roof racks. For vehicles without roof racks, you have two choices:
1. Run the included StrapRight Straps over the carrier, through the open vehicle door, along the inside roof of the vehicle, through the opposite vehicle door, and attach to the other end of the strap.
2. Use the accessory item, Car Clip Strap Set, to strap over the carrier and clip onto a ledge or rain gutter inside the vehicle's door frame. See the link below for more information.

Miguel A. from Olney, MDI really like the carrier because it is roomy and easy to set up. But I'm dissappointed in that after two uses the inside liner is peeling. Since the inside is peeling off I guess the water proofing will no longer hold true. I expected better quality than this for what I paid for.

Packing was no problem and the size allowed for us to fill it up with the items we needed. It faired well trekking across western America until our second day, when it could not withstand the wind and rain and ripped. We had to duct tape it and keep moving, when we arrived to our location most of our clothing saturated. I'm sending it back with hopes they'll furnish another, but if it can't withstand the rain or wind, then maybe I'd better look for another cargo carrier.
